Knitted Death Star of the Day: Knitter and Star Wars fan Nicole Kostelec has achieved something that, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, would have taken an entire Galactic Empire: she made a Death Star.
Granted, it’s only 14″ in diameter and made of yarn, but at least it doesn’t have an exhaust port weak spot that could blow the whole thing up with a chain reaction. That’s more than Grand Moff Tarkin can say for his battlestation.
