Game of Thrones Season 2 Teaser of the Day: HBO’s latest teaser for Game of Thrones Season 2 features a voiceover from one of the most important new characters we’ll meet in the second season: King Robert’s brother, Stannis Baratheon.
His narration sets up the coming battle for the throne — which you may have anticipated from the title of A Song and Ice and Fire‘s second book, A Clash of Kings — and establishes him as very different from his boisterous, hard-drinking brother.
So, now we’ve gone from “winter is coming” to “the night is dark and full of terrors” and “the cold winds are rising.”
To say things in Westeros are looking grim would be an understatement.
Game of Thrones returns in April.
